Welcome to OHP Hockey Club, where the importance of the game is all about fun and fairness for kids of all skill levels.

We firmly believe that hockey should be a source of delight, focusing entirely on the children. We cut out the politics and posturing to bring back what hockey should be about. Fun! We cherish and acknowledge each child's efforts, ensuring they are celebrated on and off the ice. With three distinct divisions - Tyke, Novice, and Elite - we cater to the varied needs and abilities of our U9-U6 minor players.

Understanding the significance of inclusivity, we strive to provide every player with the opportunity to engage and revel in the game, irrespective of their prior experience. Our club was founded with a deep understanding of the needs of young athletes.

Taking into account the frustration felt from parents who want to provide their children with a space to hone in on their abilities, to play games with different teammates, and to give their kids a chance to challenge themselves against opponents with the same skill sets; we have built this club to provide players with an opportunity to build up their confidence in the game of hockey. 

Driven from personal experiences, the concept of OHP Hockey club was fueled by our dedication to make sure kids are removed from sport politics so that every player gets extra ice time, puck touches, and fair scrimmages.  We do this by hand picking the teams for each tournament based on a child’s age, level of experience, and skill set to ensure that all teams are well balanced where we don’t end up with a 30-0 win or a 30-0 loss.  It is our steadfast commitment to cultivate an environment where every member of the OHP Hockey Club is valued and embraced while promoting fun!
